たまゆら珍館では、シェアハウスに滞在しながら制作を行い、ギャラリーでの展示までを行うアーティストを、国内外から募集しています。

「アートと喫茶室」のある建物の3Fは、5LLDKのシェアハウス。
アーティスト、旅人、会社員、海外からの滞在者など、多種多様な人々が集い、共同生活を送っています。

門司港には、黒田征太郎氏のアトリエをはじめ、個性的なギャラリーが点在し、アーティストを自然に受け入れる土壌があります。
自由で、どこかアンダーグラウンドな気配を内に秘めた表現と出会える街——そんな門司港で、いつかアーティスト・イン・レジデンスをやりたいと考えていました。

この街で、多様な人々と生活を共にしながら、日常の中で得たインスピレーションを作品へと昇華してみませんか。
実績や経歴は問いません。

アウトサイダーアート、エロス、オカルト、妖怪、ホラー、人体——

Tamayura Chinkan is currently seeking artists from Japan and around the world to participate in our Artist-in-Residence program — a unique opportunity to live in our shared house, create work, and present exhibitions within our gallery space.

The third floor of the building housing the “Art & Café Room” is a spacious 5LLDK shared house.
Artists, travelers, office workers, and international guests from diverse backgrounds live together and share daily life under one roof.

Mojiko is home to a number of distinctive galleries and creative spaces, including the atelier of renowned artist Seitaro Kuroda.
It is a town with a natural openness toward artists — a place where free-spirited and subtly underground forms of expression quietly exist.

For a long time, I dreamed of creating an artist-in-residence program in a place like this.

Why not immerse yourself in life here, encounter a wide variety of people, and transform the inspirations of everyday life into artistic expression?

No previous experience or career background is required, just an obvious passion and commitment to creating and presenting your work.

We especially welcome artists working with themes such as:

• Outsider Art

• Eroticism

• Occult Culture

• Yokai & Folklore

• Horror

• The Human Body

■ 滞在場所：門司港シェアハウス たまゆら荘

■ 費用：
　2週間：30,000円
　1ヶ月：40,000円

■ 費用に含まれるもの：
　個室家賃／光熱費／ギャラリー展示費／広報／発信サポート（SNSでの紹介、展示告知等）

■ 制作・滞在環境
・制作場所：基本は個室内（共用リビングの使用も一部可）
・水回り（キッチン／風呂／トイレ）は共用
・家具・家電一式完備

※音や匂い、汚れを伴う制作については事前にご相談ください。内容により調整させていただきます。

■ 展示について

・展示場所：
　たまゆら珍館「アートと喫茶室」
　または「秘宝とオカルト室」

・展示期間：1週間〜

※在廊やイベント（トーク、オープニング等）の実施も可能です。内容に応じてサポートいたします。
※作品販売時は販売手数料として20%を頂戴します。

■ 本レジデンスの特徴

本施設はシェアハウスとギャラリーが一体となった空間です。
入居者や来場者との偶発的なコミュニケーションが生まれる環境であり、クローズドな制作に加えて、開かれた関係性の中で表現を展開することが可能です。

また、一般的なギャラリーとは異なる文脈（オカルト／アンダーグラウンド／個人蒐集的空間）を持つため、展示そのものが空間との相互作用を含んだものになります。

【Program Details】

■ Accommodation: Tamayura Sou Shared House, Mojiko

Minimum stay: 2 weeks (Longer stays negotiable)

■ Fees
2 weeks: ¥30,000
1 month: ¥40,000

■ Included in the Fee

• Private room accommodation

  (SNS introductions, exhibition announcements, etc.)

■ Living & Working Environment

• Workspace: Primarily within your private room
  (Shared living space may also be partially available for use)

• Shared facilities: Kitchen / Bathroom / Toilet

• Fully furnished with appliances included

Please consult with us in advance regarding any work involving strong noise, odors, or materials that may damage the space. Arrangements may vary depending on the project.

■ Exhibition Information
Exhibitions may take place at either:

• Tamayura Chinkan “Art & Café Room” or

• “Erotic & Occult Room”

Exhibition period: 1 week〜

Artists are also welcome to organize events such as talks, openings, or performances. We will provide support depending on the content.

For sold artworks, a 20% commission fee will be charged.

■ About This Residency

This residency is a hybrid space combining a shared house and an art gallery.
Because residents and visitors naturally interact within the space, artists can develop their work not only through private creation, but also through open and spontaneous human connections.

Unlike conventional galleries, Tamayura Chinkan exists within a context shaped by occult culture, underground aesthetics, and personal collections.
As a result, exhibitions become deeply intertwined with the atmosphere and character of the space itself.
